They've difficulty to understand even simple instructions. That is why repetition plays an essential part in their educational process.

Behavioral pattern:

1. Probably the most commonly viewed autistic behavioral pattern is characterized by repetitive movements like hand-flapping, rocking or spinning. 2. They religiously follow their daily routine and get annoyed even if the slightest change is built to it. 3. Restless naturally. 4. Becomes obsessive about an aspect of a thing while ignoring all of those other parts. 5. Extremely responsive to sound, touch and lightweight while being oblivious to the sensation of pain. 6. They develop food preferences and sometimes crave for things that aren't edible like dirt, chalk etc. 7. They often get involved in self-destructive activities like cutting their limbs or banging their head on the wall.

Although it holds true that all the children do not grow at the same pace however the appearance of the aforementioned symptoms inside the first three years of their life should be hint enough to tell you that your child is autistic.
